LEO THE WORLD WIND CAT

During the month of January, we got a phone call from a lovely woman letting us know there was a stray cat going around the neighbourhood. Baring in mind January was a horrific month with very bad frost and snow. One of our volunteers had arranged to go and get him but with no surprise we were held back by the snow, so it had been delayed until the next day which everyone was very upset as little Leo had to spend another night in the freezing cold winter. When the next day had came the same volunteer decided to go to the neighbourhood and try to get him although it was very hard to catch little Leo due to him being very scared and cold the volunteer finally caught him. The volunteer then had to take Leo to the vet where the vet had then told us he had to get some stitches above his eye due to a deep cut he got outside.

Cumnock and Doon Valley Cats Protection had then taken Leo to a foster pen where he was then looked after and cared for by one of our very good fosterers, he was in care for around a month within that month he became a very loving and a happy cat, he also got all his treatments which also included being neutered. Leo is now a very happy boy with a loving family and everyone at Cumnock and Doon Valley Cats Protection are so happy to see how far he has come over last couple of months.

PLEASE NOTE LEO'S OWNER HAS CHANGED HIS NAME TO MILO.
